Grading and drainage infrastructure are underway at the PHS Industrial Technology Department.

Construction is proceeding apace on the $6.5 million additions to the Perry High School, approved by school district voters in a February special election.

The PHS Industrial Technology Department, located near the east end of the Perry Middle School, is undergoing an update of its present 6,400-square-foot facilities as well as a 7,280-square-foot expansion.

A new 8,550-square-foot wrestling/multi-purpose room is also arising on the Perry High School’s north side, with student parking temporarily displaced to the gravel lot south of Dewey Field.

Minneapolis-based Unesco Inc. is the project manager for the upgrades and additions, which are expected to be completed by the start of the 2020-2021 academic year.
