No arrests or citations followed a fight between two Perry couples in the parking lot of the old Will-Do Cleaners in downtown Perry Tuesday afternoon.
Officers of the Perry Police Department responded to a report of a physical altercation in the 1100 block of First Avenue about 2 p.m., including the claim that one of the disputants tried to run over another with a vehicle.
The circumstances leading to the dispute are unknown.
“They were talking, and then they started fist fighting,” said one member of a group of laborers who said they witnessed the fight.
Officers made contact with the four parties to the dispute and sent them on their way after a brief investigation.
