COVID-19 deaths in Iowa rise to 1,314; positive cases at 86,428

DES MOINES, Iowa — Data from the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) indicate total COVID-19 deaths statewide in Iowa stood at 1,314 at about 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27. In Dallas County, 38 deaths have been reported.

The total for positive cases statewide stands at 86,428, including 2,798 in Dallas County.
