DES MOINES, Iowa — Data from the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) indicate total COVID-19 deaths statewide in Iowa stood at 540 at about noon Monday, June 1. In Dallas County, 21 deaths have been reported.
The total for positive cases statewide stands at 19,690, including 910 in Dallas County.
Of Iowa’s population of 3.1 million people, 159,294 have been tested, about 5.1% of the total population.
