DES MOINES, Iowa — Data from the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) indicate total COVID-19 deaths statewide in Iowa stood at 579 at about 10 a.m. Thursday, June 4. In Dallas County, 25 deaths have been reported.
The total for positive cases statewide stands at 20,706, including 938 in Dallas County.
Of Iowa’s population of 3.1 million people, 174,127 have been tested, about 5.1% of the total population.
