COVID-19 deaths in Iowa rise to 708, positive cases at 28,780

DES MOINES, Iowa — Data from the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) indicate total COVID-19 deaths statewide in Iowa stood at 708 at about 3 p.m Monday, June 29. In Dallas County, 29 deaths have been reported.

The total for positive cases statewide stands at 28,780, including 1,175 in Dallas County.

Of Iowa’s population of 3.1 million people, 301,259 have been tested, about 9.7% of the population.
