DES MOINES, Iowa — Data from the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) indicate total COVID-19 deaths statewide in Iowa stood at 721 at about 3 p.m Sunday, July 5. In Dallas County, 29 deaths have been reported.
The total for positive cases statewide stands at 31,353, including 1,275 in Dallas County.
Of Iowa’s population of 3.1 million people, 332,991 have been tested, about 1.1% of the population.
