Craig Earl Tenhulzen, 58, of Bouton and formerly of Lincoln, Neb., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016, at Mercy Hospital of injuries from a fall.

A gathering for friends and family will be held Thursday, Sept. 8 from 5-7 p.m. at Iles Brandt Chapel, 1301 Ash St. in Dallas Center. Additional services will be held in Lincoln at a later date.

Craig was born April 6, 1958, in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, and grew up Lincoln.

He graduated from Lincoln Southeast High School.

On Aug. 6, 1977, he was united in marriage to Jayne Thompson in Lincoln. They have a son, Jeremiah.

Craig worked for several companies in the printing business in Lincoln and Des Moines.

The family moved to Bouton in 2008.

Craig was currently employed at The ReWall Company in Des Moines as a plant manager.

Craig enjoyed woodworking, automotive and working with his hands. He loved his family and his Border Collies.

Craig is survived by his wife, Jayne; son, Jeremiah; mother, Marilyn Tenhulzen; sisters, Glenda Tenhulzen, Carla Reiter and Jody DeLord; 11 nieces and nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Tenhulzen;and sister, Sandra Pfeiffer.

Craig was a loving husband, father and friend and will be deeply missed.
