A Perry man was killed late Wednesday when he lost control of his vehicle in the 1000 block of Park Street in Perry, according to an Iowa State Patrol crash report issued Thursday.
Michael Thomas Sloss, 48, of Perry died of injuries he sustained in the accident about 11:30 p.m. at 1006 Park St.
According to the ISP report, Sloss was traveling on Park Street when his 1994 Ford F150 struck a legally park vehicle, entered a residential yard and struck a tree and two parked vehicles.
The crash remains under investigation, the ISP said.
The Perry Police Department also responded. Sloss was transported by the Dallas County EMS to the office of the State Medical Examiner in Ankeny.
