A crash occurred Monday evening at the intersection of Iowa Highway 141 and Iowa Highway 144 in Perry.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
It was not immediately apparent at the crash scene how many vehicles were involved. A passenger car sustained serious front-end damage and came to rest in the westbound lanes of the intersection.
A passenger minivan and a semi-tractor trailer were stopped near the scene, but their involvement could not be discerned at this hour.
A witness at a nearby restaurant said he heard the wreck but did not see it. He said he heard the semi-tractor trailer lock up its breaks.
The Perry Police Department is investigating the incident at this hour.
The Perry First Responders and Perry Volunteer Fire Department also responded.
