A crime scene investigation is ongoing Tuesday morning at a property on County Road P58 south of Perry.
The public is in no danger, according to a statement from the Dallas County Sheriff’s office, which said it is not releasing any more information at this time.
Two adjoining properties at 22731 J Ave. are circled with crime scene tape, and several patrol vehicles of the Dallas County Sheriff’s office are at the scene along with an Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation vehicle.
The houses at 22731 J Ave. are owned by Martin E. Seibert, according to county records. The adjoining lands are owned by the Stine Seed Farm.
