The city of Perry will begin restriping crosswalks and painting parking stalls in the downtown area on the evening of Monday, June 17, the city announced Monday afternoon.
Crews will start working at 10 p.m. Motorists are asked to move any vehicles parked on the street to an off-street parking lot or other location by 10 p.m.
Restriping of the city parking lot at the intersection of First and Willis avenues will begin on the evening of Tuesday, June 18. All vehicles parked in the city parking lot must be moved by 10 p.m.
The parking lot will reopen to the parking of vehicles early on the morning of Wednesday, June 19.
The city of Perry said it thanks all citizens for their anticipated cooperation.
