Daisy Burk, age 4 months, of Perry passed away Sunday, Aug. 30, 2020, in Perry, Iowa.
Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 3 from 5-7 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home and Cremation Care in Perry. Her family requests that everyone wear face masks and practice social distancing. Daisy Mae Burk was born April 6, 2020, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Logan Matthew Burk and Brandy Sandra Menard.
She liked to go outside and play in the garage with her brother. She always wore a smile on her face. She always loved to dance before bed and to sit with her dad and watch video’s at night.
She always reminded her mom of the sun because she was so bright. She changed her mom’s life. She liked to ride in her dad’s truck with her brother. She was her mom’s “Daisy Baby.”
In death she rejoins her great-great-grandparents, Ray and Donna Bryant and Dean Bryan.
Left to cherish Daisy’s memory are her parents, Logan and Brandy; brother, Axel Burk; grandparents, Tina Rumbaugh of Woodward, Dan Burk of Lovilla, Iowa, and Mark and Deana Menard of Council Bluffs; aunts, Katelyn Menard, Tierah Holmgren, Saydie Burk and Abby Peters; uncles, Jason Bolig, Matthew Menard, Michael Menard and Toby Burk; great-grandparents, Linda and Larry Clayton of Carter Lake, Iowa, Dawn Bryan of Woodward, Chris Bryan of California and Lois Burk and Bill Stuffelbeam of Lovilla; and a great-great-grandmother, Carol Bryan of Madrid.
