The Metro Arts Alliance’s Jazz in July concert series teams up Saturday with Dallas Center’s Art in the Park committee for a swinging time as some 50 vendors bring their beauties to market to the sounds of Latin jazz in Mound Park.
The music starts at 5:30 p.m., with the Dallas Center-Grimes High School jazz combo warming up the crowd with their cool jazz and the Parranderos Latin Combo playing from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
A free Bounce House for the kids and wine sampling for the adults promise fun for all ages.
According to the organizers, Culligan Water of Adel will be providing free bottles of water while supplies last. Coolers are welcome, but hard alcohol and smoking will not be allowed.
The event is free and open to the public.
