The Twisted Corn Tavern is Dallas Center was burglarized Thursday about 2:30 a.m., and the owners seek information about the crime.
“A female checked that our walk-ins were locked,” said a spokesperson for the tavern on Facebook, “and a male ‘unlocked’ the door and stole several cases of beer.”
The Dallas County Sheriff’s office is investigating the incident, but the tavern is also asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects.
“The Dallas County Sheriff’s Deputy assumes they will be back to do it again,” said Randi Boelkes, manager of the Twister Corn Tavern. “We would love to catch them before they have a chance to take more from us. The male and female duo are most likely local and have either worked at this restaurant — even prior versions, the Yard or the Moon — or are frequent customers.”
Anyone with information about the break in should call 515-993-4771.
