Effective immediately, the Dallas County Conservation Board is pausing its public programming indefinitely, the board announced Monday.

“As the department moves forward with additional information and guidelines regarding the Coronavirus, we will adjust,” said Dallas County Conservation Board Director Mike Wallace.

The administrative office at Forest Park Museum in Perry remain open, and the public outdoor areas remain open for now. The spring flowers are starting to sprout, and early bird migrants are moving through. With thousands of acres and miles of trail, social distancing is encouraged.
