DES MOINES, Iowa — Data from the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) indicate total COVID-19 deaths statewide in Iowa stood at 3,589 at about 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, an increase of 568 deaths since Dec. 10. In Dallas County, 62 deaths have been reported, up from 59 on Dec. 10.

The total for positive cases statewide stands at 267,251, a 10-day increase of 16,969 positive cases. Positive cases in Dallas County number 7,483, an increase of 524 in 10 days.
