Dallas County COVID-19 deaths at 78; positive cases reach 9,326

DES MOINES, Iowa — Data from the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) indicate total COVID-19 deaths statewide in Iowa stood at 4,901 4,487 at about 12 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, an increase of 414 deaths since Jan. 23. In Dallas County, 78 deaths have been reported, up from 72 on Jan. 23.

The total for positive cases statewide stands at 319,245, an increase of 7,161 positive cases since Jan. 23. Positive cases in Dallas County number 9,326, an increase of 262 since Jan. 23.
