Seven local scholars were winners in the Dallas County Hospital Foundation Scholarship Program for 2016, the foundation announced Friday.
Recipients of the $1,000 scholarships were Lauren Ashley of Waukee, Amanda Stadtlander of Van Meter, Jordan Fisher of Waukee, Mary McCormick of Urbandale, Megan Snyder of Grimes, Abigail McKernan of Granger and Andrea Baier of Adel.
Gathering to honor the promising scholars on their achievements were Dallas County Hospital Foundation Board members Donna Emmert, Maureen Haglund, Chad Hoffbeck, Lindsay Weber, Sherri Miller, Juda Saemisch, Jody Lutterman, Christie Creighton, Cathy Radebaugh and Amy Nath.
Also joining the celebration were Dallas County Hospital Foundation Manager Jenny Hornsby and Dallas County Hospital CEO Angela Mortoza.
