- Dean Bury of Adel was traveling in the 400 block of 11th street in Dallas Center when his vehicle struck a utility pole. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,000, and damage to the utility pole was estimated at $2,000. Bury was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
April 9, 2025
- Colleen Mawdsley of Madrid was traveling on Iowa Highway 44 near W Avenue when her vehicle struck a stop sign at that intersection. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000, and damage to the sign was estimated at $1,500. Mawdsley was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
- Corey McDonald, 35, of 6319 Hickman Road, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft.
