- Richard Wik of Mount Ayr, Iowa, was traveling in the 33000 block of U.S. Highway 169 when his vehicle dropped off the roadway and onto the shoulder, pulling the vehicle into the ditch and rolling onto its side. Wik was examined at the scene by Dallas County EMS. Wik was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
