Aug. 16, 2021
- Jamaal Gist of Killeen, Texas, was traveling near the 110 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 when he pulled onto the shoulder, and his vehicle tipped over due to the soft, shallow ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to the semi-tractor trailer was estimated at $15,000.
- Harmeet Singh of Antelope, California, was traveling near the 107 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 when he attempted to pull onto the shoulder, but his vehicle slipped of the gravel shoulder and tipped over into the south ditch, coming to rest on its side. No injuries were reported. Damage to the semi-tractor trailer was estimated at $1,500.

- Justin Wayne Sparks, 42, of 1125 Ranchel Dr., Des Moines, was arrested on warrants for second-degree theft, criminal mischief and possession of burglar’s tools.
