July 30, 2021

  • Scotty Hays, 30, of 1116 Second St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of fourth-degree criminal mischief.
  • Andrew Quick, 33, of 33996 G Trail, Earlham, was arrested on a warrant for violation of a no-contact order.
  • Ricardo Duchene of Denver was traveling eastbound on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 106 mile marker when he lost control of his semi-tractor trailer due to the rain, and the vehicle struck the cable barriers, jackknifed and came to rest facing west. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $10,000 to the semi and $10,000 to the cable barrier.
  • Stephanie Hernandez, 22, of 101 W. Douglas St., Knoxville, was arrested for driving while license denied or revoked.

July 31, 2021

  • William Beverly, of 33, 517 N.E. Fifth St., Ankeny, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-offense OWI.
  • Mason Larson of Woodward was stopped at the corner of Walnut Avenue and W. Second Street in Woodward when his vehicle was struck by a vehicle, driven by a juvenile. No injuries were reported. Damage to each vehicle was estimated at $1,500. The juvenile was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
  • Zane Buck, 19, of 1005 Maple St., Dallas Center, was arrested for first-offense OWI.

Aug. 1, 2021

  • Dwayne Portwood, 33, of 1116 E. 12 St., Des Moines, was arrested for violation of a no-contact order and on a warrant for probation violation.
  • Aravind Kannoly, 23, of 2820 N.W. 167th St., Clive, was arrested for first-offense OWI and speeding.

Aug. 2, 2021

  • Patrick Moore, 34, of 1415 Otley Ave., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of public intoxication.
  • Eduardo Vasquez Morales, 39, of 7511 Dennis Dr., Urbandale, was arrested for first-offense OWI.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
