- Joseph Paul Wolter of 2517 44th St., Des Moines, was traveling westbound in the 13000 block of Iowa Highway 141 when he attempted to pass a snow plow and lost control of his vehicle, which slid into the north ditch and overturned. Both the driver and the passenger received minor injuries. The driver refused treatment but the passenger, Barbara Ann Wolter, was transported by Dallas County EMS to the hospital. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $7,500.
- Cuahutemoc Rodriguez-Acevedo of 109 S. Franklin St., Fonda, was traveling southbound in the 14000 block of N Avenue when he lost control of his vehicle due to the icy road conditions. The vehicle entered the west ditch and overturned. No injuries were reported, and damage to the vehicle was restimated at $5,000. Rodriguez-Acevedo was issued a citation for no valid driver’s license.
- Shane Phillip Jarboe of 1603 Maple St., Dallas Center, was traveling southbound in the 28000 block of R Avenue when he lost control of his vehicle due to icy road conditions. Jarboe’s vehicle entered the east ditch, overturned and came to rest on it wheels. No injuries were reported, and damage to the vehicle was estimated at $7,000.
- Daniel Lee Beyer of 1709 Walnut St., Dallas Center, was traveling eastboud on 240th Street and preparing to turn right onto W Avenue when Russell Henry Rigdon of 900 S.E. Westgate Drive, Waukee, traveling northbound on W Avenue, observed Beyer’s vehicle traveling towards him with no control because of the icy road conditions. Beyer’s vehicle struck Ridgon’s vehicle, causing Rigdon’s vehicle to enter the east ditch and strike a utility pole. No injuries were reported. Damage to Beyer’s vehicle was estimated at $7,000, and damage to Rigdon’s vehicle was estimated at $6,000.
- Jeana Kay Heutmaker of 307 Bakers St., Minburn, was traveling southbound in the 20000 block of N Avenue when her vehicle left the roadway because of icy road conditions, entered the west ditch and hit a field fence. Heutmaker’s vehicle rolled onto its driver’s side and then tipped back over onto all four wheels. No injuries were reported, and damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,000.
- Kathleen A. Specht, 59, of 102 E. Monroe St., Jefferson, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on original charges of public intoxication and assault on persons in certain occupations.
- Richard James Kaster, 33 of 112 S. Dodge St., Afton, was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation on and original charge of possession of a controlled substance.

- Chris Shagville Bass, 23, of 310 88th St., West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation.
