- Steven Medrano of Van Meter was traveling in the 33000 block of R Avenue when his vehicle entered the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $2,500.
- Joshua Vanhorn of Dexter was traveling in the 33000 block of Dexfield Road when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $5,000.
- Molly Manjarrez of Sweetwater, Texas, was traveling on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 112 mile marker when her vehicle collided with a vehicle, driven by Gavin Felder of Panora. Felder’s vehicle then struck the concrete barriers and entered the ditch. EMS was declined, but occupants said they would seek treatment later. Damage to Manjarrez’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000, and damage to Felder’s vehicle was estimated at $10,000.
- Joshua Haburn, 37, of 205 Sixth St. S.W., Spencer, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
