- Solomon Girumu of Perry was traveling south on 16th Street at Willis Avenue in Perry when he ran a stop sign and struck a power pole. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $4,000, and damage to the power pole was estimated at $500. Girumu was issued a citation for striking fixtures upon a highway.
December 6, 2019
- Lane Andrew Freeborn, 24, of 1101 Pleasant St., Bondurant, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on original charges of dissemination and exhibition of obscene material to minors.
December 7, 2019
- Kevin Villa of Perry was traveling north on U.S. Highway 169 when he swerved left and went through the grass, hitting the Minburn Freedom Rock. The driver was transported to Mercy west with an ankle injury. The incident is under investigation. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $12,000, and damage to the rock and lighting is estimated at $8,100.
