- Adam Conover of Macon, Mo., was traveling near the 117 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
February 21, 2018
- Timothy Edward Parks, 29, of 1404 Greene St., Adel, was cited and released at 2500 240th St. in Dallas Center for driving while license suspended and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Ashley Tennant of Adel was traveling north on Pueblo Court and attempting to turn west onto Prospect Circle when she lost control of the vehicle, which slid into the north ditch and overturned. Tennant was taken by private vehicle to a family doctor. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $4,000.
- Darrell Vossekuil of Winterset was entering a property on Prospect Circle when his vehicle slid on the ice, striking a guide wire of a utility pole. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $4,000, and damage to the utility pole was estimated at $5,000.
- Samantha Elizabeth Olmstead, 25, of 1103 Greene St., Adel, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while license suspended.
- Lindsey Faye Wilson, 34, of 1128 Flagstone Lane, Pleasant Hill, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on an original charge of OWI.
