- Amanda Dosedel of West Des Moines was traveling on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 112 mile marker when her vehicle collided with a vehicle, driven by Santos Gonzalez Alfaro of Des Moines. No injuries were reported. Damage to Dosedel’s vehicle was estimated at $500, and damage to Alfaro’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Dosedel was issued a citation for failure to maintain control, and Alfaro was issued a citation for no valid driver’s license.
- Julio Ruiz, 22, of 1915 Fifth St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
