- Michael Canady, 32, of 70 Thayer St., Des Moines, was arrested for tampering with witness or juror and assault.
- Kate Shepherd of Pueblo West, Colorado, was traveling on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 105 mile marker when the rear axel on her vehicle broke, causing Shepherd to lose control. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
