- Cynthia James of Van Meter was traveling east in the 25000 block of U.S. Highway 6 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,500.
- Jamie Brown of Waukee was stopped to turn left onto W Avenue when she was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Bryan Collin of Pleasant Hill. No injuries were reported. Damage to Bryan’s vehicle was estimated at $10,000, and damage to Brown’s vehicle was estimated at $7,000.
- Rosa Elena Arellano, 22, of 809 N.E. Broadway Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for forgery and possession of a controlled substance.
