- Cody Callison of Altoona was traveling near the intersection of Elm and Guthrie streets in DeSoto when his vehicle struck a dog. No injuries to the driver were reported, and the dog was transported to an animal hospital in Des Moines. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1,200.
December 31, 2018
- Delaney Moriah Spencer, 25, of 1324 1/2 Second St., Perry, was arrested on warrant for probation violation on original charges of driving while barred and driving while license suspended.
