- Drew McCombs of Van Meter was backing up in the roadway on Arlington Avenue in Van Meter when his vehicle struck a parked vehicle. No injuries were reported. Damage to McCombs vehicle was estimated at $1,000, and damage to the other vehicle was estimated at $2,000.
Jan. 11, 2023
- Donna Cook, 43, of 1125 Oak Park Ave., Des Moines, was arrested for two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Jonathan Jones, 56, of 7255 Lake Dr., West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on original charges of child endangerment and domestic abuse assault.
