- Chima Nwaturuocha of Urbandale was traveling southbound in the 20000 block of W Avenue when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $10,000.
- Donald Johnson of Van Meter was traveling northbound on R Avenue near the Veterans Cemetery when his vehicle collided with a vehicle, driven by Andreona Winfrey of Des Moines. Both drivers were transported to a Des Moines Hospital by Dallas County EMS. Damage to Johnson’s vehicle was estimated at $7,000, and damage to Winfrey’s vehicle was estimated at $7,000. Winfrey was issued citations for no valid driver’s license and failure to provide proof of financial liability.
