- Paloma Perez, 20, of 1624 W. Lincoln Ave., Boone, was arrested on warrants for first-degree theft and eluding.
- Jessica Lugo, 21, of 421 Watson St., Coopersville, Mich., was arrested on at the 104 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 for drug possession/delivery of marijuana and failure to affix drug stamp.
- Bruce Edward Petersen of 320 N.W. Seventh St., Earlham, was traveling westbound in the left land of U.S. Interstate 80 when a Ford Explorer traveling in the right lane started to merge into Petersen’s lane, causing Petersen to steer away from the Explorer in order to avoid contact. Petersen’s vehicle drove onto the shoulder of the roadway, hitting cable barriers. Minor injuries were reported due to the airbag deployment, but the driver was not transported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $6,000. The driver of the Explorer did not stop at the scene of the accident.
