July 10, 2020
- Kaleb Ray Kimball, 24, of 2802 Fleur Dr., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for unauthorized use of credit card.
- Eric Bryon Munson, 40, of 1408 325th St., Woodward, was arrested on a warrant for violation of conditions of pretrial release on original charges of burglary and attempted murder.
- Amanda Pauline Dunbar, 40, of 1024 14th St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft.
- Trevor Williams of Adel was traveling near the 104 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 when he lost control of his vehicle when the trailer he was pulling started to sway, causing the vehicle to enter the north ditch and roll. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $10,000.
- Rickey Curtis Meneweather, 18, of 1926 53rd St., Des Moines, was cited and released in the 33000 block of Grand Prairie Parkway in Waukee for possession of a controlled substance, speeding and violation of instruction permit limitation.
July 11, 2020
- Allison Rathjen of Urbandale was traveling near the 103 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 when her vehicle slid into the south-side guard wire due to the wet road conditions. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,000.
- Damon Hart of Des Moines was traveling west on Iowa Highway 141 Diagonal when he was slowing down to turn north onto 170th and was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Patrick Miner of Granger. Hart was transported to the Dallas County hospital by Dallas County EMS. Damage to Hart’s vehicle estimated at $4,000, and damage to Miner’s vehicle was estimated at $300. Miner was issued a citaion for failure to stop in a clear assured distance and for failure to provide security against liability.
- Nathan Chermel of Valparaiso, Indiana, was traveling near the 116 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 when he swerved to avoid a pot hole in the road and lost control of his vehicle. Chermel refused treatment by the Dallas County EMS. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
- Jason Thomas of Granger was traveling west in the 17000 block of Iowa Highway 141 Diagonal when he was slowing down to turn right and was struck by a vehicle driven by James Cline of Woodward. No injuries were reported. Damage to Thomas’s vehicle was estimated at $10,000, and damage to Cline’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Cline was issued a citation for failure to stop in an assured clear distance.

- Ryan Lee Faux, 22, Cambridge, Iowa, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on original charges of OWI and eluding.
- Bret Anthony Madson, 44, of 6334 Gabrielle Dr., Lincoln, Nebraska, was arrested at 350 Jordan Creek Parkway, West Des Moines, for OWI and speeding.
- Qiana S. Sanders, 43, of 1539 Calumet Ave., Whiting, Indiana, was arrested at the 111 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 for controlled substance violation, failure to affix drug stamp, possession or control of a firearm in a controlled substance violation and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Tashea J. Powell, 34, of 7667 S. Coles Ave., Chicago, was arrested at the 111 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 for controlled substance violation, failure to affix drug stamp, possession or control of a firearm in a controlled substance violation, child endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia.
