- Kaleb Austin Wright, 24, of 15698 Linden St., Granger, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.
July 13, 2018
- Ezekiel Hagaman of West Des Moines was traveling in the 23000 block of 347th Street when he lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve, and the vehicle entered the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $500.
- Mebratom Tizaz of Waukee and Pa Tawi of Urbandale were both traveling east in the 22000 block of Iowa Highway 141 when Tizaz’s vehicle crossed the center line and merged into the left lane, striking the rear passenger side of Tawi’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. Damage to Tizaz’s vehicle was estimated at $1,500, and damage to Tawi’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000. Tizaz was issued a citation for improper lane change.
- Anthony Scott Lawson, 43, of 808 Fourth St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of compulsory-education violation.
- Josiah Sweers of Cedar Rapids was traveling west on Iowa Highway 44 when he stopped to turn south on W Avenue and his vehicle struck the northbound stop sign, knocking it to the ground. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,500 and $500 to the stop sign.
- Daniel William Harley Wolfe, 26, of 640 Pleasant View Dr., Waukee, was charged with assault causing bodily injury while incarcerated at the Dallas County Jail.

- Dustin Brian Benge, 35, of 1328 Highway 169, Winterset, was arrested near the 34000 block of U.S. Highway 169 for OWI and failure to maintain control.
July 15, 2018
- John Raymond Fortisi Jr., 30, of 12058 N.W. 131st, Madrid, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on an original charge of OWI.
- Fashion Marie Foster, 43, of 311 Warford St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
July 16, 2018
- Kory Michael Kenney, 42, of 243 Dave Circle, Ames, was arrested on a warrant for removal of theft detection device and theft.
