July 24, 2020
- Melanie Warner of Redfield was traveling west on Hickman Road in Waukee when she stepped on her brakes for a vehicle in front of her and was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Lyra Wyckoff of Ames. No injuries were reported. Damage to Warner’s vehicle was estimated at $500, and damage to Wyckoff’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000. Wyckoff was issued a citation for failure to stop in assured clear distance, driving under suspension and failure to carry SR22 insurance.
- Ayilen Panduro, 22, of 8724 Urbandale Ave., Urbandale, was cited and released in the 29000 block of Iowa Highway 44 in Dallas Center for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
- Donald Lyle Goble II, 53, of 2101 Locust St., Granger, was cited and released in the 20000 block of Xavier Avenue in Grimes for possession of drug paraphernalia, open container, stopped on a traveled part of unpaved highway, failure to maintain or use safety belts and stopping, standing or parking where prohibited.
July 25, 2020
- Karissa Sherae Wilson, 32, of 518 E. McKinley Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.
- Daniel Ephraim Pott Pepperman, 61, of 1210 Office Park Road, West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for fraudulent proactive and tampering with records.
- Jennifer Rae Nicolaisen, 41, of 12879 Houston Ave., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while license suspended.
- Jason Hall of Winterset was traveling east on 360th Street when he slowed down to turn north onto R Avenue and a vehicle driven by Mya Hood of De Soto tried to pass, causing Hall’s veicle to strike the passenger side of Hood’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. Damage to Hall’s vehicle was estimated at $500, and damage to Hall’s vehicle was estimated at $8,000. Hall was issued a citation for passing too near an intersection in a no-passing zone.
- Alexander Lefkow of Cedar Falls was traveling west on Iowa Highway 141 diagonal when he slowed down for a vehicle ahead of him that was turning and was struck from the rear by a vehicle driven by Tyrone Gomez Zamora of Perry. No injuries were reported. Damage to Gomez Zamora’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000, and damage to Lefkow’s vehicle was estimated at $1,500. Gomez Zamora was issued a citation for failure to stop in assured clear distance.
- Brandon Lee Ferguson, 22, of 2516 Perry Park Ave., Perry, was arrested on seven warrants for failure to appear on original charges of driving while license under suspension.

- Christian Sanchez-Castillo, 21, of 1913 E. 24th St., Des Moines, was cited and released at 81st Street and Cody Drive in West Des Moines for driving while barred.
