July 2, 2020

  • Anastasiya Andreeva Walker, 31, of 919 Taylor St., Redfield, was arrested at 705 Second St. in Redfield for possession of a controlled substance, driving on wrong side of a two-way highway and open container.
  • Michael Jason Godwin, 31, of 1311 First Ave., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on an original charge of assault while displaying a dangerous weapon.
  • Codey Mason of Des Moines was traveling in the 26000 block of U.S. Highway 169 when his vehicle struck a raccoon. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1,500.

July 3, 2020

  • Jared Tyler Quelland, 28, of 513 Main St., Van Meter, was arrested on a warrant for disorderly conduct.
  • David Daniel Sikes, 19, of 614 Park Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on original charges of third-degree burglary, second-degree burglary and unlawful possession of prescription drug.
  • Roy Howard Coll III, 24, of 233 Sheldon Ave., Ames, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for initial appearance on original charges of driving while license denied and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Bryan Charles Searcy, 49, of 306 Kellogg Ave., Dallas Center, was arrested in the 27000 block of N Avenue in Adel for OWI, open container and speeding.

July 4, 2020

  • Brendan Robert James, 20, of 111 W. Jefferson St., Bouton, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for plea hearing on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.
  • Ciro Garcia Rocha, 22, of 15920 Ramsey Road, Crosby, Texas, was arrested at old U.S. Highway 6 and Houston Avenue in Redfield for OWI and speeding.

July 5, 2020

  • Frank Christopher Bennien Jr., 51, of 1132 E. Seneca Ave., Des Moines, was arrested at 700 Debra Dr. in Van Meter for operating a vehicle without owner’s consent and no valid driver’s license.
