- A minor driver was traveling on U.S. Highway 169 near 302nd Place when the driver struck a motorcycle, driven by Rodney Freeman of Madrid. Freeman was transported by Dallas County EMS to Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Damage to the minor’s vehicle was estimated at $20,000, and damage to Freeman’s motorcycle was estimated at $10,000. The minor was issued a citation for failure to yield upon left turn.

- Ronald Feldman, 25, of 3035 E. Ovid Ave., Des Moines, was arrested for assault on persons in certain occupations.
- Haylee Rote, 27, of 1917 Hickman Road, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
