June 20, 2025
- Rodney Whitmire of Dallas Center was traveling eastbound on 240th Street near W Avenue when his vehicle collided with a vehicle, driven by Uwineza Sonia of Urbandale. No injuries were reported. Damage to Whitmire’s vehicle was estimated at $10,000, and damage to Sonia’s vehicle was estimated at $15,000. Sonia was issued a citation for failure to yield upon left turn.

- Brandy Johnson, 48, of 809 10th St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for three counts of third-degree harassment.
