- Perry Police Department Officer Caleb Wallace of Perry was responding to a call with his lights and siren on. Wallace came up behind a vehicle that was not yielding to his lights and siren, overtook the vehicle and then got back in his lane. Wallace arrived to the call and came to a complete stop. The vehicle behind him rear ended the patrol call and then drove away. The driver of the vehicle, Anibal Calderon-Castillo of Perry, was located and issued a citation for leaving the scene of an accident and no driver’s license.

- Joseph Allen Cunningham, 30, of 6832 Chaffee Road, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
