- Nathan Reyes Alfaro of Perry was traveling on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 113 mile marker in a flatbed two truck when a semi-tractor trailer swerved and collided with Alfaro’s vehicle. Alfaro pulled over, but the driver of the semi-tractor trailer left the scene. No injuries were reported. Damage to Alfaro’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
- Shayla McMains of Perry was traveling on Iowa Highway 141 at T Avenue when a vehicle, driven by Norma Carlson of Woodward, pulled out in front of McMains’ vehicle and caused a collision. McMains was transported by Dallas County EMS to Methodist Hospital. Damage to McMains’ vehicle was estimated at $5,000, and damage to Carlson’s vehicle was estimated at $2,500. Carlson was issued a citation for fail to yield upon entering through highway.
- Sydney Dixon, 25, of 3307 50th St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
