- Joe Cotton of Dallas Center was traveling in the 25000 block of U Avenue when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $4,000.

- Richard Carroll Barth, 19, of 1020 Locust St., Dexter, was cited and released at the intersection of State and Barton streets in Dexter for possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Amos Van Ceu, 22, of 8504 Winston Ave., Urbandale, was arrested at 32500 Grand Prairie Parkway in Waukee for OWI, violating one-way traffic designation and open container.
