- Elhadi Mohamed Adam of Urbandale was traveling in the 29000 block of K Avenue when he swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle and entered the ditch, striking a field entrance. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1,600.
- Thomas Stevens Sowers, 46, of 3560 Douglas Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of OWI and contempt-refusal-failure to pay fine or costs.

- Momen Kago of Waukee was traveling north on 14th St. in Dallas Center and attempting to turn left into a parking space. A second vehicle attempted to pass Kago’s vehicle while it was turning, and the second vehicle struck the front fender of Kago’s vehicle and continued on without stopping. No injuries were reported. Damage to Kago’s vehicle was estimated at $2,500.
