- Joshua Minton of De Soto was traveling west on Iowa Highway 44 in Dallas Center when a vehicle driven by Terry Masengill of Dallas Center pulled onto the roadway and struck Minton’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. Damage to Minton’s vehicle was estimated at $500, and damage to Masengill’s vehicle was estimated at $7,000. Masengill was issued a citation for failure to yield upon entering through highway.
