- Brant Young of Perry was traveling east on 240th Street and approaching the intersection of U Avenue when a vehicle driven by Catherine Carter of Dallas Center was turning on to 240th Street and struck Young’s vehicle, causing it to enter the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to Young’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000, and damage to Carter’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000. Carter was issued a citation for failure to yield the right away.
- Darrin Toney of Carroll was traveling west on Iowa Highway 141 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $6,000.
- Melinda Hamilton of Perry was traveling east on Iowa Highway 141 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $4,500.
