November 22, 2016

  • Charles Morse of 33597 335th St., Waukee, reported vandalism to a mailbox.
  • Paul Zietlow of 25173 Pin Oak Dr., Adel, reported the theft of money from his bank account.

November 23, 2016

  • Matthew David Allusis, 26, of 320 Maple St., Orient, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while license denied.

November 25, 2016

  • Alex Arturo Fierro Zuniga, 23, of 2917 Grand Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of probation violation.

November 26, 2016

  • Leslie Marie Duncan, 25, of 910 S. Fifth St., Carlisle, was arrested at the 117 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 for driving while license denied, operating without registration and violation of financial liability.
  • Jarid Krugler of Urbandale was traveling west in the 24000 block of 195th Street when his vehicle crossed the center line and left the roadway, entering the ditch and overturning. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3000. Krugler was issued a citation for failure to maintain control and violation of conditions of a restricted license.

November 27, 2016

  • Carl Marlin Nelson Jr., 38, of 307 14th St., Dallas Center, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of assault.
  • Tyrice Deshawn Douglas of 1624 Washington Ave., Cedar Rapids, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on original charges of identity theft and unauthorized use of a credit card.
  • Kevin L Waddell, 54, of 320 Barton St., Dexter, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of disorderly conduct.
  • Mark Grossman of Waukee was traveling in the 28000 block of 360th Street when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5000.
  • Jimmy Lamar Schoolfield Jr., 36, of 4201 N.W. 99th Ave., Polk City, was arrested on warrants for probation violation and failure to appear on an original charge of contempt-refusal–failure to pay fine.
  • Randall Harmann of 13256 Kimble Pl., Perry, reported the theft of a fireplace insert at property he owns at 18355 180th Ln. near Perry.

November 28, 2016

  • Nick Quandt of Grimes reported the theft of tools from a trailer on a job site at 25658 Riverview Ridge Rd. in Adel.
  • Antoinette Tulen Duru, 24, of 2110 King Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while license under suspension.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
