- Laurie Zirkle of Panora was traveling in the 17000 block of 280th Street when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $5,000.

- Brandon Wagoner of Pleasant Hill was traveling in the 34000 block of R Avenue when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $3,500.
- John Chapman of Newton was working his route for a waste management company and was traveling westbound on County Road F90 at Sample Lane when a vehicle, driven by Brian Hernandez, ran into the back of Chapman’s garbage truck. Hernandez was transported to Methodist Medical Center by Dallas County EMS with injuries. Damage to the garbage truck was estimated at $5,000, and damage to Hernandez’ vehicle was estimated at $45,000. Hernandez was issued a citation for failure to provide proof of financial liability, failure to stop in assured clear distance and open container.
