- Myo Hlaing of Perry was traveling in the 25000 block of Iowa Highway 141 when his vehicle went onto the gravel portion of the roadway. The driver lost control of the vehicle, which went into the ditch and rolled. Both the driver and passenger were taken to the Dallas County Hospital. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $16,000, with damage of approximately $500 to a corn field.
- Deborah Ann Hunt-Repp of Perry reported the theft of jewelry from her residence.
- Joshua James Jost, 20, of 35 Aidan St., Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
- Charles Andrew Onnen, 20, of 302 1/2 Warford St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
October 8, 2016
- Sean Alan Oneal, 39, of 23102 Highway D15, Iowa Falls, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of contraband in a correctional institution.
