October 28, 2020
- Michael Myers of Dallas Center was traveling on N Avenue when he slowed to turn onto Raccoon Road, and his vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by Paige Faidley of Urbandale. Faidley was transported to Methodist Hospital by Dallas County EMS. Damage to Myers’ vehicle was estimated at $3,000, and damage to Faidley’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000.

- Derek Beck, 24, of 648 Wa Ha Ma Dr., Camdenton, Missori, was arrested for first-offense OWI, possession of drug paraphernalia, first-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana and unlawful possession of a prescription drug.
- Nino Adan, 36, of 835 Park Ave., Omaha, was arrested for first-offense OWI and issued citations for no valid driver’s license and improper use of median, curb or access facility.
- Robert Appel of Adel was driving in the 26000 block of U.S. Highway 6 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $6,000.
